Percy Potter and the Sea of Slytherin

Harry was not impressed by this place. It was so... American. Instead of 'Bloody' they say 'Stupid'. What kind of word was that? Instead of the delicious, sweet golden Oxford marmalade on buttery perfectly crisp white toast, they had raisin bran toast with a dollop of sour jam. He tugged at the soft but uncomfortable shirt he wore. He felt the leather of the necklace scratch his neck. He missed his shining golden CAPTAIN badge. He missed his billowing black cloaks and his red-and-scarlet ties. He missed- "HARRY! Listen to me! We have a new camper... he seems to know you." Harry turned to Percy and looked at the boy standing next to him and gasped. he had white-blonde hair slicked back and cold, cruel grey eyes to match his well-practiced pearl-teethed sneer. He had pale skin like he wasn't in the sun much, and he had a long silver cloak. He wore a grey-and-green tie with a shining silver prefect badge. He had a coat of arms sewn perfectly on chest. It consisted of a open-mouthed snake baring its fangs. He was wearing gleaming polished dress shoes and black tights. He had a black-and-dark brown wand tucked in his wand pocket with a single shimmering emerald on the top. Percy sensed the rivalry. "This is er, what's your name?" Harry cut in. "Draco Lucius Malfoy." Draco sneered a prize-winning sneer. "Harry James Potter. We meet again."

Harry was stunned. How could this be? Annabeth tapped Draco's shoulder. "You have to wear these." She handed him a rust-orange Camp Half-Blood shirt with dark, carefully printed letters. She gave him a pair of silvery-black jeans and a black leather necklace with a single bead on it. Great. Harry thought. Just great. My main enemy gets all the good stuff. Draco came back an hour later. Harry was ready to tease him, but was disappointed. The clothes were perfect on Draco. Malfoy took a quick look around and his eyes were then set on the Hades and Athena cabin. He took a look at people walking from the Aphrodite cabin, too. He sees somebody walking out from the Athena cabin, and Harry could tell it was love at first sight. His eyes widened, and he got a dreamy expression on his face. He... smiled. That was not like Draco. He took his pocket mirror and stared at himself. He took out one of his many silver combs and... brushed his hair... forward. THAT was really unlike Draco. His hair was more casual and rough that way. Harry finally got it. In Hogwarts, Draco was fitting in with the SLYTHERINS! Here, he was trying to fit in with everyone else! He roughed his hair up more so much only faint bits of dragon grease was showing. Percy took Draco by the shoulder. "What's your name again?" Draco hesitated. Here, his name was a weird one. "Uh, just call me... Thorne. I'm Thorne S-Sabien." There was no changing his name now. Percy didn't know. He just said, "Then Thorne, come with me. Let's escort you to Travis Stoll and Connor Stoll." Draco- wait no, Thorne. Thorne nodded and said, "Travis? Connor? Who is that, may I ask- I mean, Who's that?" Percy let out a sigh. "Head councilors for Hermes cabin. They're... fun." Thorne nodded. Harry then couldn't remember Thorne's old name. He smacked his head. He couldn't.... remember... anything.

Percy was weirded out by the new guy. He seemed too... perfect, in a laid-back way. Ruffled pearl-white hair brushed forward messily, extremely boring Camp clothes looking like a tux and suit the way they did, clean jeans that weren't too small, too large, too long, or too short, nice, expensive shoes that managed to stay clean despite him stepping in wet mud and dog poo. He had a backwards black Houston cougars hat. He spun and swayed as he walked. He swung his arms in a fashionable way. And like Percy, seemed to be in love with an Athena kid. Scarlette Blair. She had long, curling brown hair that trailed to her waist. She was rebelling against the camp rules and was wearing a scarlet-and black school dress and was wearing deep red lipstick. She had bright, pretty green gold eyes that were all-knowing and kind. She had a large black bow in her hair. She wore her 5 camp beads with gold and silver pearls. She trotted around with her all-black purebred doberman on a white leather collar. Thorne made the mistake of walking up to her. "Hi." She stared at him, thank the GODS she was nice. She smiled warmly and said, "Hey. What's up?" Thorne turned red. "N-nothing." He speed-walked away. I went to my archery class with her and she asked me, "Percy? What's up with that guy, Thorne? Every time I look at him he turns red and walks away!" Percy smiled. "Let's just say he has an eensy-weensy spider-in-the-drain liking habit." As many smarts as she had, she couldn't figure out what Percy meant. She pulled the arrow back and released. It hit the bullseye. She muttered, "Go get it, Jacobi..." Her doberman (AKA Jacobi,) walked to the target and yanked the arrow off the target. It ran over to her and woofed. "Woof!" Like that. Percy scratched his head and pulled his arrow back wrong. He released it to the wrong direction. It pinned Thorne's hat to the wooden wall. He growled at Percy and yanked the arrow out. He threw it with surprising accuracy to Percy. It hit Percy's leg... with the sharp point. Sadly, Annabeth was walking in the arena at that moment. She saw blood in a puddle on the floor next to a screaming Percy. She swished her head around to see a flaring Thorne with a ripped-up hole in his stylish Houston Cougars hat. She did a quick face-palm and took her knife out.

Thorne was utterly confused. He was losing memory of his past life. He couldn't even remember the name of his old school. He tried to think about it, but his brain punished him by giving him severe headaches. He finally decided to stop. He got to get a nice lecture from Annabeth. He kept staring at Scarlette. He felt he had a history here. He felt he had been here for ages. He felt... he wanted to stay. He could only remember a single word. Slytherin. And that word slowly faded. Who, or what were Slytherins? Were they good? Evil? Smart? Dumb? Enemies? Friends? Acquaintances? Something from a dream? Something from life? Perhaps, they were a food, even. Thorne was giving himself headache after headache, nightmare after nightmare. At the campfire, he touched his hand to the ground. A tiny, black rose bloomed.  He picked it and threw it in the fire. The fire turned deep, deep black. Everyone gasped. A woman erupted from the fire. Her hair was black as the night sky and flowed in the air everywhere. Her eyes were white, yellow, red and orange as the stars. She wore a black ripped dress that went to her ankles and was dotted with diamonds that resembled stars, Her nails were painted black. And her skin was black. When he says 'black', he means black. It was a dark, faded gray. She wore black obsidian bracelets, necklaces, and earrings. She had heeled black flats. Her lips were black and she shone with a force as dark as night itself. She moved her hand, and the night sky above Thorne seemed to shift. She smiled and her teeth were as white as the ice on Pluto. She wore a belt that had a picture of every planet and moon. Earth, Mercury, Saturn, Jupiter, etc, and all the moons. Sedna, X, and Earth's moon. Her necklace had three charms on it: The Blood Moon, Solar eclipse, and equinox. She seemed to shimmer with starlight. She had a completely moon-white Shiba Inu (Type of dog) that had glowing crater-grey eyes. It walked around her feet. A black snake that looked a lot like an asteroid belt was slinked around her neck. The Shiba Inu started growling viciously and the moon glowed brighter. It seemed to get bigger. Percy's eyes widened. Annabeth blinked. "No. Not her again. Leave." The woman smiled. "Later. I must talk to one first." Her voice was dark, and demanding. You couldn't say no. Thorne raised his hand. She turned to him. "Yes, Child?" Thorne stuttered. "Uh, y-you are who? I mean, are who you? I mean, who you are? I mean, You who are? Uh, no, Who are you?" she smiled. "Why, I am Nyx. Titan of Darkness, Night, Stars, and Planets.
