Magic upon Magic: Moving in
I yawn. Yawn. "You don't look so good." Elaina says, observing me. "Take a nap." I close my eyes, feeling the bun undoing itself. The braid starts untwining, then the band that is holding my French braid is slipping out. The braid falls, but my hair is still kept straight. "Come on." Elaina says.
"Wha-?" I say, already half asleep. "I can't figure this out!" She starts muttering to herself. I feel asleep, but I just can't fall asleep. I snap open my eyes. They still feel icy blue. I look at my hair. Still white blond. The bun does itself again. Cool. I feel it, and it feels like Elaina just did it again. "What?" Elaina says, finally looking up from her math equations. "The train stopped." I said. Elaina looks around. "You're right. The train did stop." She continues looking around. "Welcome to Utah." The train conductor says. "Please stay seated as we unbuckle your trunks. Please listen for your name." He starts calling out names. (Emily Adams, Drew Cannon, etc.) Since we didn't pack any "luggage", we just slipped away, off the train. "You can come out now." I say to PC. She climbs out, stretching again, and sits herself down. Elaina looks at a map, searching for a hotel. Her eyes dart everywhere, but finally shouting, "Here's one." She says, pointing to a hotel. Andrew had become visible. "Huh, I guess." He said, looking at the little icon. We nod in agreement. We start walking. "Why can't we get a taxi?!" Jackosn complains. "We want to save money." Elaina says simply. We continue on. "Here." Elaina finally says. The hotel name reads "Homewood Suites." I've heard of that. We walk inside and order two rooms. "Level 5." I read from our card. "Level 5." Andrew reads. "We have separate rooms on different floors. Great." We take the elevator up. We wave bye to the guys and continue up to our floor. "374, 375, here! 376!" I say. Unlocking the door, we walk in. I collapse on my queen bed. I start reading as Elaina starts turning on the TV. "I'm bored." Elaina finally says after switching a whole bunch of TV channels. "Ther's nothing good right now." I look out the window. "There's a pool." I say, trying to be helpful. Elaina jumps up. "Yeah, let's go to the pool. I feel like I'm scorching." We open our backpacks, looking for our swimsuits. Elaina stands up, holding her swinsuit, which is blue and orange. She races to the bathroom to change. I conitue looking for my packed bathing suit. I finally find one. I wait for Elaina, who finally comes out. I walk into the bathroom and change. I tie my hair up into a ponytail and emerge. "Shouldn't we call?" I ask
Elaina. She shrugs as I pick up the phone. "They accept." I say. "Minus Andrew. He said that he was fine." Elaina grabs our towels and we go down to the pool. We walk into the pool area. I take off my flip flops and cautiously take a toe into the pool. "It's good." I say to Elaina, who is already taking off her sundress and flip flops, revealing a tankini and jumps into the pool. Not to be outdone, I take off my sundress, wearing a pink swimsuit and I jump in, making a loud splash. We laugh as we played in the pool. Jackson soon joins us and jumps off the diving board, doing a somersault and landing in the pool. When the sun started setting, we came out of the pool and dried ourselves, and walked back to the hotel building. We walk back to our hotel room. Elaina changed back into jeans and a bright green shirt with a bit of the shirt sagging down on her shoulders. Feeling extremely uncomfortable because I was just standing there, waiting while sopping wet, I ran to the bathroom. I came back wearing jeans, a hot pink shirt bearing the word "Love" with Elaina's shirt style. I put on a headband and sandals, hid PC, and walked downstairs to dinner. Andrew and Jackson were already there, impatiently waiting. "Gods, you take too long." Andrew muttered. This was the first time I saw him up up up close. He had jet black hair, like I said, tan skin, again, like I said, electric blue eyes, but this time they were changed to sky/ocean blue. "You used my trick." I say, turning my eyes to his shade of blue. He smirked and slipped his glasses back up. I changed my eyes back and undid the bun. I'll look too weird. I still have Elaina's ever tight French braid. I also found a new strategy: As a child of Hecate, you can change your attributes to disguise yourself as a different person. I slipped his avaitors away from the bridge of his nose and put them on. Not bad. I think, seeing my reflection through Elaina's shiny locket. Andrew sighed and pulled out an identical pair from his pocket. "27 down, 23 to go." He said to himself. I giggled. He sent me the same wicked smile that he gave me before. We took the elevator to the dining area. "Let's see…" I said, observing the vats of food. Salad, fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, BBQ chicken. I take salad, fried chicken, and macaroni and cheese, hoping that this one is better. Elaina returns with a steaming plate. I take some thousand island and pour it over my salad and eat. Jackson also returns, only with fried chicken and a salad, but there is only a little salad. I stare at him. He stares back through his brown eyes. My icy blue eyes beat him. (Remember, I had Elsa hairstyle, hair color, and eyes.) He unlocks his eyes away from me and starts eating like a pig. Andrew lowers his head, revealing his eyes, and looks at Jackson. He shrugs and continues eating. Elaina stares at him in disgust as she takes a bite into her salad. I took a cautious parcel of macaroni into my mouth. I close. I munch. Not bad… I finish first. I think Red hair, red hair, come on!… I look at my hair. Red. Wow. I change it back to white blond and wait. Andrew. Elaina. Jackson. I eye him, giving him the stink eye. He backs away, holding up his hands. "Basketball court!" Andrew screams, running towards the door. We follow. "Girls against boys." Jackson says, spinning the ball with a finger. I grab it. "Accepted."
