Time Warp

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Susan Foreman

Grandfather was running around the controls of the TARDIS, twisting, turning, pulling, pushing. I was worried. "Grandfather?" I asked. Without turning around, he answered. "Yes, Susan?" He pulled a contraption. "Where are we going?" This time, he turned and addressed me quickly. "Dear Susan, we will be fine. I know what I am doing." I surely hoped so, because I hoped that we wouldn't run into any monsters. Or trouble.

Zoe Heriot

Knock knock knock! Sipping my coffee, I opened the door. I wasn't expecting my visitor: The Doctor. "D-D-Doctor! What are you doing here?" With a sparkle in his eyes, I practically knew that he was up to something. "C'mon Zoe. We are going on a little- adventure." Stepping out the door, I followed him into the TARDIS and we disappeared.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Sara Jane Smith

"Ohhh, Doctor." I said nervously. "I'm not so sure about this." The Doctor raised his eyebrows.
"Sara, why not? Have I ever doubted you? " I thought for a moment.
"Hmm. What the time you-" The Doctor raised a hand for silence. "Sara, I can assure you that we will be fine." I thought for a little bit and considered. I took his offering hand and stepped into the TARDIS.

Leela
Whosh! Whosh! Whosh! K-9 barked at the sound. Erm, more like saying "There is a visitor." Something like that. "What the hell is that?!" Andred exclaimed when he heard K-9's barking. Um, words.  I immediately regocnized that noise as the noise of the TARIDS materializing. I smiled, replying to Andred, "The Doctor has
returned."
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Peri Brown
A grin appeared on my face. The Doctor was here! He had been telling me about this adventure that we were going to take. Before he could even knock, I was sprinting out the door. The TARDIS shone in the bright afternoon sunlight, and the Doctor and I stepped in. He started up the TARDIS. It shook a little before we were materializing away.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Ace
I was excited. I had a recent adventure with the Doctor and now we were on the way to another. My excitement was bouncing around as I plastered the Doctor with questions. "Where are we going?" "When are we returning?" "Who will we meet?" The Doctor merely laughed as he fumbled around with the controls or the TARDIS. Were! Whosh! The Doctor turned around to answer my questions: Surprise, soon, I don't know, Ace. I knew he wouldn't budge after that. So I would just have to wait until we got there.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
 Grace Holloway
Recently: I had accidentally killed the Doctor, a new one regenerated, and offered to come with him on his travels. I sadly refused and he went traveling alone. I had suddenly felt sorry for him. Until he appeared. The TARDIS appeared in the lab and somehow, no one but me had noticed him. His face appeared from the doorway. "Greetings, Ms. Holloway." I turned as he spoke some more. "I would like to take you on a little adventure." I thought for a moment, was about to say "Yes.", but I looked down at my workload. It was getting alarmingly high, and I needed to catch up. "I'm sorry Doctor, but I really need to work. I'm getting very far behind." As I pointed out my mountain of work, he replied simply, "It shouldn't take anymore than a couple of minutes, I suppose? Because you see, in the TARDIS, you might feel like you're there for a year, but really, when you return, it's only been a couple of weeks. If you go, in the TARDIS, it might feel like days, weeks, but really, when you return back to the lab, maybe a couple of hours have only passed by." I considered for a bit of a while, and finally accepted. Before I left, I quickly wrote down a note in front of my station. "Gone for a while, should be able to return soon. -Grace"
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Jack Harkness

I stepped onto the TARDIS, leaving Torchwood. "'Bye Jack. Stay safe." Were my fellow Torchwood mates assuring. I waved a half-hearted wave and a "Good-bye," and I closed the door of the TARDIS. Before we materialized away, I clapped my hands and asked, "So, Doctor, where to today?" As he started up the TARDIS, he said, "A mission to defeat." Before I could ask what or who we were defeating, we materialized away from the Torchwood Tower.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Martha Jones
"Oh no Doctor, I'm not sure about this!" I exclaimed. "Martha, calm. 12345678910. Repeat after me. 12345678910." I repeated "12345678910." I calmed down. "Shh. Good Martha. Now, we are going on an adventure. And this adventure won't be scary or have monsters. Got that? Good." I wondered where we were going to go. Was anybody else going with us? Rose? Oh, wait, she's in the Parallel World. Donna? Hm, possibly. Nah, I don't hear her or anything. Doctor would have told. He pauses, as if he were waiting for someone or something. After a couple of minutes of no action or movement, the Doctor spoke up. "So?" He asked impatiently. "Do you want to go or not?" I accepted. "What are you waiting for?! Let's go!"
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Amy Pond
I clasped Rory's hand worriedly. The Doctor was slightly, erm, crazy. I wasn't sure if we were going to be safe. One time, we were supposed to go to a beach and we ended up going somewhere else. And doing something else. "Rory, I'm not so sure about this!" I whispered frantically to him. "I'm not so sire either, but I think we might have to trust him." The Doctor was running around, trying to figure out a way. "Well, it's the only way to get away from the Daleks." Rory whispered. "Eggs-Eggs-Eggs-EXTERMINATE!!!!!!" A Dalek yelled. "Um, on second thought," I whispered to him, "I'll take it."
"Good! Have you decided?" The Doctor yelled. "Our answer is yes!" Rory yelled. "Quick! Get into the TARDIS! What are you blokes waiting for?! GET IN BLOODY SIDE IDIOTS!" He yelled. We sprinted for the TARDIS. The Doctor quickly ran into the TARDIS as the Daleks headed for the door of the TARDIS. "EXTERMINATE!!!!!" They yelled furiously. Rory practically laughed. "What's so funny?" Doctor asked. Rory shook his head. "Well, let's go!" He shouted and the TARDIS materialized away.

    1. Thank you. Actually, that's how it's supposed to be. Bit mysterious, dark. You described it pretty much perfectly.

  2. I like the darkness of this piece. I think it adds to the mood and tone you are trying to convey. I adore Dr.Who :)

    1. Awfully difficult to do. And for eleven characters, the plots are hard.
