Why I Like Cats

It's not that I hate dogs, I guess they're kinda okay, but I have 3 reasons why I like cats better than dogs.

• My cat Dale used to have a sister, but poor Chip tried to trust the dogs, and lost her own young life.
• When I was three dogs chased me and tried to hurt me.
• Dogs bark and chase poor cats while they just try to defend.

Now if your'e a dog person, I am sorry to say, but cats are better in my opinion, and nothing will change my mind.

If I Could Believe

Never had a real dream.
My tooth was still under my pillow.
Mom's handwriting, on the Christmas presents.
No easter eggs in the yard.
It doesn't snow in Texas.

Sandman, Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, and Jack Frost never came to be for me. Other friends enjoyed the magic while I was cold as can be.

Now I wish that just for once that I could just believe, and make my childhood better.
