Non-Stop

Non-Stop

So, another Movie Review. This is a very new movie that is still in the theatres. The title does not let anybody guess what this movie is about. It is about an Air Marshal that receives a series of anonymous text messages. The messages state that every 20 minutes a passenger on their plane would be killed. The passengers think that the main character is a terrorist and is trying to kill them. Of course, he isn't, so he tells the passengers that. I believe that this is a very good movie, so I rate it 4 stars.

World War Z Movie Review

World War Z Movie Review

Like all zombie movies, World War Z starts like any other movie--happy and peaceful. The opening scenes are, in our opinion, boring. The interesting things happen when they get to they get in the city. A huge garbage truck smashes into a bunch of random vehicles. The police warn them before the truck whams into him. Zombies fly onto the family's cars windshield and make the daughters scream in terror.
A downside to this movie is the extremely high ammount of drama and number of pop-outs. The first few are fine, but it gets old after like, 3 out of about 52 pop-outs. The good parts are the parts like the exploding airplane. A scary part is when Brad Pitt gets sick and goes out to an exposed zombie zone. We rate this movie 3 1/2 for various reasons. Once again, give Gio credit.

Catching Fire Movie Review

Catching Fire Movie Review

The sequel is finally here! Catching Fire, the sequel to the extremely successful book and movie, the Hunger Games. If you have read the Hunger Games review that I made earlier, you will know I am very fond of the first movie. You will also know that I strongly suggest that reading the book before watching the movie. Like the other one, it has great actors and detail. But, there are several incredibly boring scenes in the movie. On a good note, the peacekeepers look a lot better, and I like the scene where Katniss sees the peacekeepers coming down the streets. I rate this film 4 1/2 stars. Once again, give Gio credit for this review.

Hunger Games Movie Review

So, I am finally making another review. This time, it will be the book-based movie, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. This is a very good film, but I suggest reading the book first. This movie has left viewers flabbergasted and anxious for a sequel. This movie has very good attention-to-detail and actors. Jennifer Lawrence has done a great job portraying Katniss. The makers of this movie have done a great job turning a great book into a great film. After thinking about all these elements, I have a good rating for it. 4 Stars. My partner Gio has helped and Mrs. Goins, you should count this as another of his publishes.

Captain Phillips Movie Review

Captain Phillips Movie Review

As you may know, the movie Captain Phillips is a movie based on real events. It is based off the hijacking of the Maersk Alabama and the capture of it's captain, Richard Phillips by Somali pirates. From what the real Captain Phillips tells us, it is very accurate to what actually happened. It is real how the pirates took the captain hostage, and how they took off in a life boat with him. The only thing that doesn't match up with what the real captain tells us is, he says that he is NOT a hero, even though the movie portrays him as one.

The actors played the part quite well, and the quality was also very good. Because of these facts and high points, I rate it 4 1/2 stars.
