The Red Land: Chapter 12

Time went by, and we finally got through the army.  When we were standing there, out of breath, we heard a voice.
"Hello."
I look behind me, and I see, standing there, Cinder.
"You got past my pathetic army.  I am impressed.  Too bad you will have to become one of them." He stated, with a smirk.
"Dad! You can't!"
"Do you want to be one?" He asked Victoria.
"You wouldn't." She replied.
"Didn't I just tell you I would?"
She was so full of anger, she launched the sword straight towards Cinder's face.  He opened the eye on his forehead and it turned red.  He stopped the sword in mid-air, bent it in half,  and threw it twenty-feet to the right.
He picked Joey up.  I quickly grabbed my sword, and swung.  I looked down, and saw Cinder's head laying on the floor.

The Red Land: Chapter 11

I stabbed one in the heart, and saw him drop to the ground.  I grabbed his sword, and picked them off one by one.  I threw two swords to Joey and Victoria.  Joey hesitated to attack them; by the time he started running towards them, Victoria and I were about a fourth through the army.  Joey caught up to us, and we started getting through them faster.
Halfway through, we started getting out of breath.  We ran back about ten feet and stopped for a couple of seconds.
"We have to kill so many!"Joey panted.
"You've killed two." I replied.

The Red Land: Chapter 10

"I DON'T KNOW HOW TO KILL THEM!" I shouted.
"I thought I showed you." Victoria said. ''I'll show you again.  Just stab it through the heart, and you will break the psychic connection.  They will just go back to being dead."
"Ok?" Joey replied.
"C'mon." Victoria said; wafting her arm towards the corpsemen.
I got ready.  I pulled out my knife, and ran towards the corpsemen.

The Red Land: Chapter 9

I didn't know that gods were real.  I had thought they were just myths.  I was standing, thinking about what Victoria said.  I refused to believe.
Corpsemen started walking towards us.
"You know what to do." Victoria said.
"What?"  Joey said; confused.
"You know how to kill them." She told us.
"But look at how many there are!" I replied.
"So... Look at us.  They're easy kills, and there are three of us."

The Red Land: Chapter 8

"He's your dad?!"  Joey and I asked.
"Yeah.  I hate him." Victoria answered.
"Who were those people.?" Joey asked.
"Corpsemen.  They're people Cinder's killed." Victoria answered.
"How are they walking if they're dead?"  I asked.
"Cinder has psychic powers.  He's a god."  Said Victoria.

The Red Land: Chapter 7

She charged towards the man. He raised his sword and blocked her knife.  He grabbed her arm and raised his sword and she screamed "HELP!"
Joey yelled "Hey!" to distract the man as I stabbed the man in the neck.  He let go of the girl and she kicked him onto the floor.  She grabbed the knife and stabbed him through his heart.  The man fell to the ground.
"Who are you?" I asked her.
"Victoria Helms" She answered.
"OK Victoria.  Who are they?" I pointed at the man.
"They're dead.  Cinder controls them." Victoria said.
"Who's Cinder?" I asked.
"My father." Victoria answered.

The Red Land: Chapter 6

"Are you Landon and Joey?" The man asked.
"Y-Yes" I said, shaking.
"You are trespassing.  You must be held prisoner." The man stated.
Joey and I instantly had one thing on our minds.
We ran through the maze of bricks and fire.  When we were sure that we lost them, we stopped to take a breath.  We continued to run, and when we made a turn, there was a girl standing there.  She was young, probably around 18, she had worn jeans, dusted clothes, and a scared look on her face.
"C'mon!" She exclaimed.
We followed her until we were in a long hallway.
"Oh no." She immediately went for here pocket.
Then I saw one of the men.
"You each take one of these."
She handed Joey and I each a pocket knife.
"This is small" I said.
"It's better than nothing." She replied.

The red land: Chapter 5

The man was coming towards us, with the golden sword still in his hand.  We had nothing to defend ourselves with. Joey exclaimed "Run!"
We ran into the castle.  We went left, then right, then left again. We ran until we found ourselves in a giant room with thousands of the people surrounding a throne made of the same stone as the portal stone.  The man in the throne's eyes were closed.  But, there was a giant eye painted on his forehead.  He looked up at Joey and I and yelled "Who's there?"
All of the people looked at us.

The Red Land: Chapter 4

The man tilted his head and looked at us.  Joey and I looked at each other.  The man started walking towards us like a zombie.  He shouted in a croaking voice "Who are you?"
Joey and I were too terrified to reply.
"His name is Joey and my name is Landon." I replied as Joey looked at me.
I was shivering, even though it had to be at least ninety-five degrees.
"Why are you here?" The man asked.
"We don't know." I answered.
"Why are you here?!" He asked again, angrily.
"WE DON'T KNOW!" I yelled with frustration.
The man pointed at me with his sword.  It gleamed in the light of the fire.  The shine reflected on the castle wall.

The Red Land: Chapter 3

The fire started coming into to us. I was 17 years old! I couldn't die then! I looked up and saw a bright light. I wasn't in a forest anymore. I was in a a land of red sand, red skies,  fire everywhere, and a giant red castle right in front of Joey and I.
We had been teleported.
I looked inside of the castle, and saw a man. He had white flesh, charred skin, and a sword in his hand. He stood up, but his head was looking down, and his eyes were soulless. He was empty.

The Red Land: Chapter 2

Joey always loved rocks.  He takes geology classes at the community college.  He knows a lot about stuff like that.
"This is where you found it?"
"yes."  I replied.
He examined the stone.
"It says something on it!" Joey exclaimed.
"Portal" I read.
Instantly, a ring of fire surrounded us.  We were trapped.

The Red Land: Chapter 1

My name is Landon Darren.  I love to have adventures.  But this adventure is one I wish I never had.  This is the story of how I became powerful.  This is the story of my adventures.  This is the story of how I died.
One day I woke up.  I looked in the doorway, and there was a man standing in the doorway.  A tall man with ripped clothes, soulless eyes, and a red, polished, stone in his hand.  I looked into his eyes and he ran away.
''Hey! Stop!'' I said as
I chased after him.  He ran into the forest and disappeared with a burst of bright light.  All that was there was the red stone.  I grabbed the stone and ran out of the forest to be greeted by my friend, Joey.
"Hey! Lando! Watcha doi'n?"  Joey asked.
''I found this stone.  It was in the forest.''
"In the forest, huh?  Take me to where you found it.''  Joey said.
