storm...chapter 1

It was a dark and stormy night....A boy, me, was reading a story by the light of my flashlight. My name is Jake, I'm 10 years old and everyone thinks I'm weird because I think dragons are real! I continued to read even though the storm souned different. Oh. My dog, Cody, was pawing at my door. I pulled myself out of my blue beanbag chair and tured the door knob. I flung open the door. Cody bounded into my room, he looked frightened. My dog is never afaird of anything.

         KNOCK KNOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uh-Oh.Somebody was at the door at this time of night and in this storm. When I whent to the door to anserw a girl in a tattered blanket is waiting for me with big sad eyes.  She looked about 5. Cody whimpered and ran away from the child. A homeless man stepped up to the girl and said "It is time." Cody entered the room with something I've never seen before. It's blue, small, with dots of red. It's shaped like a toy train. He drops it in my lap. "He is ready!" the little girl shouts. My dad, John, inters the room. He had a strange look on his face, EVIL.
The homeless guy snatches me up and runs. The 5 year old little girl enters my house, taking my place in my family! Cody ran after me barking. He looked......HAPPY! I can't believe it, he most definitely looked happy.
