The Birthstone Princesses: Arena Nine; Taking Off

"Sorry, man. I sold my last star ship a week ago," a sales guy said as Johnathan sadly walked away. Johnathan, Ruby, Emerald, Aquamarine, and Amethyst had been searching for a ship to take them to the center of the universe. "But a strange woman told me to give you this," he finished, as he handed Johnathan another video message. This one, was from Jewel;
At least now Johnathan knew where to get the ship.

Ash slid in her seat as they broke through Kilumina's atmosphere. She felt sick as her mother started her reckless driving of the ship.
"I really should have asked Icy for a sleepover when I had the chance. Too bad she's at that stupid birthday party," Ash said as she started to call Darkart. But zooming through space just made her want to throw up. She hoped that she'd be there soon, before she really did throw up.

Johnathan made it to the shop that Jewel had told him to go to.
"Welcome, how may I help you?" a sturdy man asked. Johnathan handed the man the video message and he nodded.
"Right this way please," he said, showing them to an amazing silver starship.
"It's perfect," Johnathan said, and now he had a ship. Next destonation? The CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE!!!!!

The Art and Aspirations of a Commenter
I believe in the power of a free exchange of ideas. I also recognize that words or access to
some information can be of harm to others, intentionally or unintentionally. As a
commenter, I therefore aspire to participate responsibly in the great online conversation
 by:
* treating all bloggers with respect.
* seeking first to understand what is being said.
* celebrating another's accomplishments.
* using school appropriate language.
* rephrasing ideas in the blog that made me think, made me feel, or helped me learn
to let the blogger know his/her voice has been heard.
* commenting specifically and positively, without criticism. If I disagree, I will
comment appropriately, politely stating my perspective.
* being mindful always that I may be a role model to my audience, especially if they
are younger than I.
* making no reference to, link to, and/or giving access to any information that may
 be inappropriate for a school setting.
* asking at least one question in my comment with the hopes of continuing a
conversation and deepening thinking.
* using a triple check before submitting any comment: Would I be happy to have my
mother read this comment? My grandmother? My favorite teacher?
