The Disney Tales

   "Ahhhhhhhhh!" Alice and Henry scream and they fall into, well actually they don't know where they are falling into, but I'll tell you later.
   "What's happenning?" shouts Henry over the loud roar of who knows what.
   "I'm not exactly sure, but I think we just fell into Ms. Dawson's fairy tale book," says Alice. And she's right they did fall into the book, but where they are going is way different than any of the stories Ms. Dawson has ever read them.
   As they suddenly stop falling into the book someone that they don't know is humming, "Hm, hm ,hm ,hm ,hm," hums Mike. As soon as he opens his eyes to see Alice and henry staring at him he screams, "Ahhhh, mother of all the monsters!" he gets a worried look on his face, "Who are you and where did you come from?"
   "I'm Alice," she says
   Henry elbows her and whispers,"Dont talk to this guy, he's green."
   "Don't worry, I know exactly who he is," Alice whispers back.
   "You do?" Henry questions.
   "Yes he's Mike Wazouski, from Monster's Incorperated," says Alice smiling at Mike.
   "Yes I am, " says Mike, "Whats brings you to Disney World?"
   Alice and Henry look at eachother and smile a wide smile.

The Art and Aspirations of a Commenter
I believe in the power of a free exchange of ideas. I also recognize that words or access to
some information can be of harm to others, intentionally or unintentionally. As a
commenter, I therefore aspire to participate responsibly in the great online conversation
 by:
* treating all bloggers with respect.
* seeking first to understand what is being said.
* celebrating another's accomplishments.
* using school appropriate language.
* rephrasing ideas in the blog that made me think, made me feel, or helped me learn
to let the blogger know his/her voice has been heard.
* commenting specifically and positively, without criticism. If I disagree, I will
comment appropriately, politely stating my perspective.
* being mindful always that I may be a role model to my audience, especially if they
are younger than I.
* making no reference to, link to, and/or giving access to any information that may
 be inappropriate for a school setting.
* asking at least one question in my comment with the hopes of continuing a
conversation and deepening thinking.
* using a triple check before submitting any comment: Would I be happy to have my
mother read this comment? My grandmother? My favorite teacher?
