About the 4 Founders of Hogwarts

Bearing the names: Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, Helga Hufflepuff, and Rowena Ravenclaw, they were traveling together and came up with the idea: Let's make a school for magic! Hidden from muggle (non-magic) eyes, they created a castle in which you could go to school and learn magic. But a problem started when the founders got their ideas for who would attend.
Said Gryffindor: Bravery beyond compare and those willing to take a dare.
Said Slytherin: Those of pure blood and cunning are those who are most stunning.
Said Ravenclaw: Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure.
Said Hufflepuff: The rest who are loyal shall join me with toil.
Some of these sayings are translated oddly, but they most likely mean: Gryffindor would only take the brave, powerful and strong ones. Slytherin would only take pure-bloods and cunning ones. Ravenclaw would only take incredibly clever and smart ones. Hufflepuff would take the loyal, and extras. Salazar Slytherin and Godric Gryffindor, believe it or not, were best friends. They always talked and laughed among one another, but Slytherin eventually created the Chamber of Secrets, and left without a trace. No sign of Slytherin was seen after that. There is no known theory on how Slytherin has the great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson, Tom Riddle, without ever marrying. Merope Riddle and Tom Riddle were the last descendants of Salazar Slytherin. Once Voldemort died, there were no more descendants. Godric Gryffindor was never the same after Slytherin left, and delayed all of Slytherin's plans for the school. He first put Ravenclaw's, then Hufflepuff's the his own. He then waited for many years before putting Slytherin's plans into the school. Hearing from Ravenclaw that Slytherin had put a secret chamber in the school, he set out looking for it, it was unknown how he died. Many think he died when he finally discovered the chamber. Rowena Ravenclaw had a sad life. She was a pure-blood wizard, but she was born in a town which shunned warlocks and witches. She found Godric Gryffindor and traveled with him until they came to find Helga Hufflepuff and Salazar Slytherin. Ravenclaw made immediate friends with Hufflepuff, and Gryffindor and Slytherin bonded closely, too. She married and had a daughter, but her daughter late betrayed her and stole her diadem to make her smarter. Ravenclaw sent the Baron, (know known as Bloody Baron) after her, knowing he loved her and would not rest until finding her. But when the baron found her and asked her to come back, she refused. The baron, out of anger, stabbed Helena Ravenclaw and killed her. Realizing what he had done, he stabbed himself, thus getting the name Bloody Baron. Ravenclaw eventually died of sadness and worry. Helga Hufflepuff was born in Germany to a family of wizards. She later found Salazar Slytherin and they became friends. She had always thought of Slytherin as a jolly, and happy person until he betrayed the founders and left the castle forever. Hufflepuff was great at seeing good in everyone, even in Slytherin after he left. She admired the loyal and trustworthy. She decided everyone needed a chance and took the ones Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Gryffindor wouldn't accept. Of the four founders, Hufflepuff was the prettiest by far. She had emerald-green eyes, and golden hair. Her skin was perfectly tan, and she always had a kind smile on her face. If you have read Potter-more, you will know that once in the history of Hogwarts, there was a time when a young boy, was put in none of the houses. He fit all of the houses perfectly, for he was a cunning pure-blood, who was brave and daring, he was loyal to friends and also enemies, and he was intelligent and beautiful (Ravenclaw also took good-looking ones.) He took the title, All, and traveled around Hogwarts helping and destroying those who were good and bad. But, this only happened once. If you take the Harry Potter test, it is extremely unlikely you will get all the houses. Thank you! And if you would like more information pin-pointing a certain character, please post a comment! Thanks, hope you enjoyed this.
