I make some money by working at a cupcake shop called Sprinkles every Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Sometimes on weekends. I make 5 dollars an hour so I work 6 hours each time I'm there. My best friend is a guy named Percy. (I like him too) Everyday we walk together to and from the collage to our dorms. We live right across from each other.

It was finally summer and we got to go home and visit our family. I had a car that was my mom's and it's a Mini Cooper. It's small but cozy inside. I got in my car and started the engine but it wouldn't turn on! I kept trying and trying to turn it on but it just wouldn't budge. Sweat was dripping down my face as I checked everything but it all looked alright. I walked into the collage and tried to find someone who was good at fixing cars. I finally found someone who was average at fixing cars.
Mr.Henry our mechanics teacher. We headed towards the door but right when we were about to go outside into the hot weather I spotted a vending machine with drinks! I couldn't resist going over there because I was so thirsty! I put in a dollar for water of course and pressed the button. Nothing came out. I kicked the vending machine and I hurt my foot! It even took my dollar! How can it get any worse?

The Art and Aspirations of a Commenter
I believe in the power of a free exchange of ideas. I also recognize that words or access to
some information can be of harm to others, intentionally or unintentionally. As a
commenter, I therefore aspire to participate responsibly in the great online conversation
by:
* treating all bloggers with respect.
* seeking first to understand what is being said.
* celebrating another's accomplishments.
* using school appropriate language.
* rephrasing ideas in the blog that made me think, made me feel, or helped me learn
to let the blogger know his/her voice has been heard.
* commenting specifically and positively, without criticism. If I disagree, I will
comment appropriately, politely stating my perspective.
* being mindful always that I may be a role model to my audience, especially if they
are younger than I.
* making no reference to, link to, and/or giving access to any information that may
be inappropriate for a school setting.
* asking at least one question in my comment with the hopes of continuing a
conversation and deepening thinking.
* using a triple check before submitting any comment: Would I be happy to have my
mother read this comment? My grandmother? My favorite teacher?
