All About My Two Favorite Games...
This guy, Shigeru Miyamoto, made Mario Bros some time ago. It, by far, was the most popular game. So he decided to make tons more versions. Some were failures, (total failures), and some were absoulutely genius, like Mario Kart and Luigi's Haunted Mansion. But, we are not talking about Luigi's Haunted Mansion today. We are talking about Mario Kart. So this game was specifically launched in 1992 on the... hmm, don't exactly remember what it was called.... um, Super Entertainment Nintendo system? No.... Oh yeah! The Super Nintendo Entertainment System. I think. Well, it was completely and positively a total success. I think it's the best selling Mario game, next to the original. There were a total of...................... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10..... 11! 11 games of Mario Kart. In May, 2-0-1-4, there was this really cool thing, Mario Kart 8. It was very popular.
Now the versions. There were a few (a little more than a few) ways you could play, in case you got bored of normal.
Grand Prix: There are four levels, (unless they've updated the game, which I doubt.): 50cc, the easiest, 100cc, still easy but noticeably harder. 150cc, rather hard. A few people claim it 'is rigged and totally impossible', but I have seen my brother beat it with my own eyes. Mirror: Of all the hard things! Mirror is 150cc, BACKWARDS. I personally tried, and got 7th place. That's just me. I am terrible at Mario Kart, so don't listen to me.
Time Trial: In my opinion, very pressure building. You race alone, trying to make it to finish in the fastest time possible. Then, if you have done it multiple times, your best time is then saved as a ghost, which you can race and try to beat. It creeps me out that you race your past self...
VS mode: Really fun. You race against real human players, not computers, and it's... like, hard to explain... what's the word.... okay, I'm going to go look up that word................................frequency. Okay, so they have 'customized' rules, which means they totally changed the rules. They have something really pointless, called item frequency. It makes certain items more frequent, I guess. And, there's lap changes, which I can't really explain..... VS is considered to be much easier on Wii than on DS.
Battle: MY FAVORITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Depending on which course)
So, there are two teams, red and blue, weirdly (this is from my experience.) red tends to be the winner no matter which team you're on. So you start off with three balloons, and you try not to get those balloons popped. Every time one pops, the other team gets a point. There isn't a finish line, and on the one I play, it's timed, but that makes it all the more fun. There are a lot of different courses, and for beginners, I suggest some of the easier ones, like... Big Donut or Cookie Land. The ones with food names are the easiest. For people who like a challenge, go for Chain Chomp Wheel, or Thwomp Desert.
One more thing I have to explain: Mario Kart 8. Don't know much about this, so nevermind, not going to explain it.
Yeah, you guessed it. My all-time favorite is Pokemon. You can probably tell from my last post. If I wanted to, this paragraph could stretch a mile long. But let's shorten it. So.... what should we start with? Um, the idea.
There are three main ways Pokemon got popular. TV show, game, and cards.
We'll start with TV show.
So, our run-of-the-mill hero, Ash Ketchum 'from Pallet Town', dreams of becoming a Pokemon Master. He goes to his Professor laboratory and, to his terrible luck, realizes he slept in, and trainers already received the starter Pokemon. Then, Professor Oak says there is one rather touchy Pokemon left. Without letting Oak explain, Ash takes it and lets the Pokemon out. The Pokemon, as Oak said, is very touchy. This Pokemon is Pikachu. Ash says "It's so cute! Wow Professor! This one's the best of all!" He picks it up and it gets angry. It electrocutes Ash. This Pokemon is an extreme case of 'Ihatebeinginapokeball-itis.
Ash leaves the lab and starts his Pokemon journey. He has to drag Pikachu everywhere on a rope, and then gets attacked by a band of Spearow he tormented. Pikachu reluctantly saves him and they become friends.
Now the game................ hmm. Rather long. Well, the game titles?

The Art and Aspirations of a Commenter
