The Tale of the Flying Pig Part Three

"Anyways, we're leaving tomorrow, Mouse, you're going to hide in my pocket with food in it, and watch the Big Bad Pig while I'm going to collect stuff for our museum on Pluto, especially watch out for him, and that's probably when he's going to make his move. You're going to fire a cannon, and send me a signal when he's going to be murderous, and keep two windows open so we can float out the window once the cannon has been fired," whispered Pig. The next day.......      3... 2... 1... BLASTOFF! "First stop, Mercury!" Pig hopped off the rocket, and started collecting rocks and putting it in his jar. "Wow, this is really easy," Pig said to himself. Suddenly, the whole planet started shaking really hard, and he fainted. When Pig woke up, he was on the rocket and the jar was on the table next to him."What was that?" he asked Mouse. "I don't know," Mouse said, "when you fainted, a whole swarm of Mercury wasps were coming towards you, you were really heavy, and the Big Bad Pig was there that time, and he helped me get you aboard the rocket."

The Art and Aspirations of a Commenter
I believe in the power of a free exchange of ideas. I also recognize that words or access to
some information can be of harm to others, intentionally or unintentionally. As a
commenter, I therefore aspire to participate responsibly in the great online conversation
 by:
* treating all bloggers with respect.
* seeking first to understand what is being said.
* celebrating another's accomplishments.
* using school appropriate language.
* rephrasing ideas in the blog that made me think, made me feel, or helped me learn
to let the blogger know his/her voice has been heard.
* commenting specifically and positively, without criticism. If I disagree, I will
comment appropriately, politely stating my perspective.
* being mindful always that I may be a role model to my audience, especially if they
are younger than I.
* making no reference to, link to, and/or giving access to any information that may
 be inappropriate for a school setting.
* asking at least one question in my comment with the hopes of continuing a
conversation and deepening thinking.
* using a triple check before submitting any comment: Would I be happy to have my
mother read this comment? My grandmother? My favorite teacher?
