The Four Elements: Fire

Blake saw large flames emerged from the darkness, igniting a fiery orange and red shade. But for some reason, instead of screaming and shouting from outside, there was whispering like the wind blowing through a field. Today is where the village of Anronora was going to see which lucky one was going to posses the next magical force of nature. Blake was among the chosen by the wise ones to have a chance of possessing a force of nature. But Blake? A plain, poor boy from the rich village of Anronora? Compared from the others who had a chance, Blake was like a yellow ladybug with a whole bunch of red ones. The rest of the Chosen ones were rich and full of wealth. The last succeeded one was the great Andromeda of the land of Forenza. Her magical power was the power to control the life of the ocean. She was now known as Andromeda of the Seven Seas. Blake, personally, thought that the name was long, but others thought of it as sophisticated and fancy.
After Andromeda, many others had failed. Each person who had a force of nature was valuable because the land Horonza was falling apart. Legend says that the most valuable people who had possessed a force were the ones who possessed the Four Elements. Some people thought that someone had made it up, but Blake's grandfather had retold the story to Blake and his siblings as if it had happened yesterday. So, Blake thought that the legend of the Four Elements was true. Shattering his thoughts, Blake heard a conch horn sound. He felt nervous and scared. He slowly went out with the others. " We have collected the Chosen ones that could have a magical force of nature. They shall sprinkle a pinch of the legendary magic from when Herndia was formed. At least one of them shall posses a power.", said the Wise One of the village. " James of the Duke of Anronora, step forward." James stepped forward, pale in the face. The Wise One sprinkled the magic over him. Everyone waited with anxious faces. Finally, the Wise One pronounced, " He is not the One." The color from James's face drained. " Abigail of the Duke Anronora, please step forward." Again, Abigail failed. Finally, Blake was the only one remaining. Everyone was starting to panic. " Please step forward." Blake slowly stepped forward. He bent his head as the Wise One sprinkled the magic over him. up close, there was different colors of the magic. Blake thought that each color represented a different power. After the magic had fallen, Blake heard a gasp go through the crowd like a bee going from the next flower. The Wise One slowly traced a symbol over Blake's forehead. " The next Chosen One. He possesses the power of Fire." Another gasp flew through the crowd. Blake recalled that the most powerful of all the ones who possessed a force of nature were the Four Elements. And Fire was one of the Elements. Blake had summoned a powerful Element, and everyone knew that once one of the Elements formed, another one shall, until all the possessors formed together to form the Four Elements. And that was true.

  1. I like how you are giving each element their own story and post. It allows the reader to get a better feel for each one.
