We all run to the cafeteria. I find a seat with my friends and sit down.
As usual, I use my teeth to open my lunchbox, latching a thin fang in the zipper hole and pulling it to the side, thus opening my lunch box. My mom said I could just use slash to open it, but she forgot that I had switched out slash for Foul Play. I took out the gold Pokeblock white Poffin bread sandwich out with my teeth and started eating. Fire and Leaf ate their lunches, while Darke picked brown Pokeblock out of his. I took the white Pokeblock and ripped the bag open with my teeth, holding it down with my paws. I dug into it and started eating. The white Pokeblock had a very unique taste, but was indeed delicious. It was very sweet and had a spicy aftertaste. I sunk my teeth into an enigma berry and winced. They were tasty, but it bothered me to the point of wincing that I could figure out what the taste was. But I gratefully munched on them and then started on the starf berries. I passed a few to each of my friends and saved some for myself. Leaf ate the yellow part, Fire the blue part, Darke blue, pink, and orange, and I ate all of it. It pleased me to no end to eat my favorite berries. I ripped open the bag of gold white-sprinkle Poffins. I didn't have to make an effort to chew them, since they're super soft and puffy. My friends ate a few. Leaf took a small nibble and then swallowed the entire thing. I stared. He laughed and popped the rest of the Starf berry into his maw.
After we finished our lunches, we walked to the field and found a bench to sit on for recess.
"You know what would make this perfect?" Says Leaf.
"What?" I say.
"If Starfox would go get some berries." He laughs.
"Fine, fine." I use teleport. I end up in Viridian forest, the place I had healed myself last with a few berries. This made me think of when I would graduate from Pokeacademy. A trainer! I would search the world looking for a good trainer. But what if trainers didn't like shinies? What if they didn't even make an attempt to catch me and just ran away? I take myself away from the thought and look for berries. I find a few Oran, some Pecha, and finally a load of Razz. I teleport back and we start on the Pecha berries and talk.
Leaf sighs and he starts saying something. "Imagine. Next year, we'll find a trainer and travel the world, evolving. We may even find somebody," He winks at us. "and breed."
I gasp. "No way! What if... it could be anything! A hideous Raticate! Lady Voir is in the same egg group as MUK!" I start choking on an Oran berry. Then something catches my eye. "But it would be fine if it was her," I say, pointing at an Eevee. "I'm going to talk to her." I look at my friends.
Fire starts giggling. "Wow. Out of the entire school, you pick the only shiny other than us."
"She's a shiny, too? Cool." I grab some Pecha berries and walk over to her.
"Hello. What's your name?" I ask. She stops talking to her friend, a Pikachu, and turns around.
"Y-you're a ZORUA! And a shiny one, too! Aren't there no Zorua anymore? Didn't the population cut down to one Zoruark?," She straightens her fur with her paw. "Hi. I'm Snow. How do you exist?"
"Uh... well, I'm the child of a Zoruark. Pecha berry?"
"Yes, please." We silently sit for a few minutes, eating Pecha berries. I'm so nervous, the sweet, soft fruit is like coal in my mouth. The juices taste like gasoline when they erupt from the berry.
"That was very good." Says Snow.
I swallow nervously. "Yeah. So...," I say, trying to get the horrible taste out of my mouth. "Do you want to go to Resort Gorgeous? My friend Kyurem could fly us there."
"Yeah, definitely. When?" She says, staring at me with brown eyes.
"Uh..." I turn beet red. "When do you want to go?"
"Tomorrow? Wow, I'd love to see Resort Gorgeous." She smiles and waves.
I walk back over to my friends. "How did it go?" asks Leaf.
"I'm going to resort gorgeous with Snow tomorrow."
"Um... how are you getting there?" He asks.
"I know Kyurem." I said simply.
"The boundary Pokemon? And a legendary? No way."
"Hey, I evolve into a Pseudo-legendary."
"What's that?"
"Um, a Pokemon that's as powerful as a legendary, but not a legendary."
"Wow. Pseudo-legendary. Sounds cool." He snickers.
"We gotta get back to class."
"Oh, right!"
