I won the battle easily, and since Green had no money, he gave me his Great balls and left. A second later a Rocket Claw grabbed Dratini. Maybe I should explain what a Rocket Claw is. Team Rocket (evil organization) go around stealing powerful Pokemon. Whenever they can't get close enough to grab the Pokemon, they get a plane connected to a Rocket Claw and grab it with the claw. 'Nuff said.
"Angel, no! Flare, let's go and get Angel!" Flare started barking. Then he unleashed a Flamethrower. The first spire of Rocket Claw melted.
Then a very, very nice male voice called out, "Scythe, use Giga Impact!"
I looked towards the voice. My heart stopped. There was the most handsome guy I'd ever seen.
He didn't look playful or immature, or happy or anything. He was incredibly hot, sure, but he looked.... permanently angry. An icy expression of dislike and distaste was on his face. His eyes were cold and cruel, and thank god, one of the cruel eyes were completely covered by sharp, glossy black hair. He had a tanned, yet ice-like skin tone, and a sports shirt. He grabbed his... wait, what was the Pokemon he was riding? Whatever it was, it was pretty, and was emitting exploding stars. He grabbed the Pokemon's red, scythe-like horn and flipped off. After he got off, the Pokemon instantly formed a red, see through, comet-like shield and started speeding towards the claw. When they collided, there wasn't an explosion. There a burst of sparks. No fire, no smoke, no electricity. It simply cut through the hard iron claw like a blazingly hot and sharp knife through warmed-up butter. It cut perfectly, too. it was a straight cut, and no wires or lines or nails were falling from it.
The Pokemon landed on the ground. I looked back to the boy and realized there was another Pokemon on his shoulder. It was SO SO SO adorable, and looked much happier than the boy. It was tiny and it had a little star on its little black tail and had little blue paws. But it had GIGANTIC shining eyes and GIGANTIC ears! It was the cutest thing.
"Um.... dude? What are your Pokemon? I've never seen them before." I asked, incredibly nervous he'd use that 'Giga Impact' on me. He turned towards me.
"What?" He turned. "I hate Kanto." He muttered under his breath.
"Well, if you hate it so much, why are you even here?" I asked angrily, no longer nervous.
He scowled. "Not answering that. The one who used Giga Impact is Scythe, he's an Absol, I got him from Hoenn." He smiled and patted the Absol's head. I was going to ask, 'You can smile?' but decided not to.
"What about the one on your shoulder?"
He grinned, which surprised me quite a lot. "This is my first Pokemon. His name is Twilight, he's a Shinx. He isn't very strong, but... he's my favorite. All he knows is Electro Ball."
"Never heard of it. See ya!"
He doesn't say anything and jumps onto Scythe.
"HEY, WAIT! WHAT'S YOUR NAME?" I yell/ask.
I turn around. But he's already gone.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
I stop at Kanto Krunchies on the way to a boat leaving to Johto.
"Can I help you, ma'am?" It's a waiter.
"Um, yeah. I'd like--"
"Hey, moron. I'm not a waiter. I need to talk to you." It's the hot guy who saved Dratini.
He slides into the table. The Shinx jumps from his shoulder onto the table.
"Where did you find the Dratini? Tell, or suffer a Giga Impact."
"WHOOOOAAA. Back up. Fiora Flare gave me the Dratini. Look, I kind of need to get to Johto. But first I have to get back to Pallet..." I stood up and ran out of the door, straight to Pallet.
~~~~~~~~
The first thing I do is sit by the pond. But when I go there, Blue is there already, with his Charizard.
He's singing something.
We all live. In the same world. We all want to be the greatest master of them all.
We all live. In the same world. They all know we all want to be the greatest of them all...
"Blue? Is that... you?"
He turns around. If it wasn't so dark, I could've sworn he was blushing. "Yes. Silver?"
"Yup." I come and sit next to him.
There's a very awkward silence.
"So. Do you remember when I borrowed my dad's super rod a few years ago, and you started trying to fish and lost it in the river?" He laughed.
"Yeah. So a Gyarados destroyed it."
"Why exactly.... why did you want to be champion?" I ask.
He looked at the night sky. "I don't really remember. I just know I was so bored of mom fawning over Green. I guess.... I guess I just wanted some peace. I shouldn't really have left. Because when I came back.... I never really left this town since then."
"Wow. What do you do, normally?"
"Not much. My Pokemon.... I told them they could leave, it has to be boring for them. But they didn't want to.... all except for one. My Ninetales left me without a glance."
"What? Why?"
"Well, Ninetales was a shiny. And she was so adventurous. I guess... she just wanted to show people her power, combined with the fact she was just plain curious."
"And... you haven't seen her? At all?"
"Not once, since she left. But that doesn't matter. Charizard is here. Right buddy?"
'Chaaaaaaaar.'
"You what? You want to leave?"
'Char-char-Charizard.'
"With me. I can't really refuse you, can I, Charizard?"
'CHAAAAAAARIIIIIIIZAAAARD.'
"You want to leave.... now? It's almost 11."
'Charizard, char.'
"OK, then, Charizard. Let's go. Oh, and Silver?"
"What?"
"I'll see you later."
