Cari was tired of Flora pacing back and forth in the dorm room of the school.
"Would you stop pacing!!!!" Cari scolded.
"Sorry, I just have a bad feeling about Ash," Flora apologized. The two girls looked at the clock.
"Thirty minutes have passed. We better find Ash," Flora said, the two of them racing out the door.
When they got to Icicle's grave, she was nowhere to be found.
"I thought she would be here!" Flora said frantically, looking around as if Ash might have gotten killed just standing in the open.
"Wait, look over here," Cari called, revealing scorched footprints along the ground.
"Those are Ash's footprints. She's gone back to the underworld!" Flora realized, and started running.
"Where are you going?" Cari asked her.
"Come on! We have to find Ash before she gets herself hurt, or worse!" Flora called over her shoulder while following the footprints. Cari then soon followed suit as the two girls headed for the underworld.
Ash ran through the woods, going a different route to the underworld than last time.
"I hope they aren't following me," Ash said to herself. That's when it dawned on her. She had told them in thirty minutes to find her! Ash face-palmed herself and continued running. Not soon later, she came to River Styx. The grim reaper than came with his boat down the stream.
"Excuse me, is there a shallow area that I can cross?" Ash asked him.
"It's right in front of you," the grim reaper replied and headed on his way to deliver the spirits. Ash put her foot on the river floor and heard a hissing sound.
"Crap!" Ash thought out loud. Her anger had made a path for her friends to follow, which were her own footprints. They'd find her more easily now. She ran across the river and headed in the direction of the cave to the underworld.
"Flora, can we stop for a minute?" Cari said, all out of breath.
"Do you really want to let Deathany beat up Ash?" Flora asked in a half worried, half annoyed tone. The two girls saw River Styx not to far ahead of them.
"Come on, we'll find Ash soon," Flora said, just as the grim reaper's boat rode by. Flora saw a spirit that looked familiar.
"Cari! It's Icicle's spirit!" Flora said, running toward the boat. But the boat faded into nonexistence as she approached it.
"We can go into the cave disguised as the grim reaper and his helper in that boat," Flora said, pulling on a grim reaper costume. The two of them got into the boat and sailed to the underworld, not knowing what extreme danger awaited them.
