"Sasuke, calm yourself. Itachi can't be outside." I said. To be honest, Sasuke sounded truthful, but it was against the facts Sasuke told us himself.
Sasuke looked away with disdain in his eyes. "I don't lie."
Somehow I knew that wasn't an honest statement.
"You're sure? Sasuke, you said it yourself; Itachi's dead."
"I saw him outside, okay?!" He snapped, that weird pattern back in his eyes.
"Uchiha, there's a question I need to ask you."
Sasuke huffed. "What?"
"When you get mad... Your eyes tend to change. What is that?"
"I suppose it couldn't hurt to tell you... it's the, uh, Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan."
"Eternal... Man- What?"
"Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. E-turn-all Man-geh-key-oh Shar-een-gan. Geez." He rolled his eyes, the pattern disappearing.
"I'm going to go outside." I said, opening the guild's door.
As soon as it opened just a crack, I saw a blaze of incredible fire.
"You IDIOT! SHUT THE DOOR!" Sasuke yelled.
I slammed the door shut. "Wow. What the heck... was that?"
"Itachi. Fire release."
Sasuke growled, gripping the handle of his katana. He made a hand sign and ran to the door, yanking it open and running outside.
"Oh. God. He's an idiot. What's he doing?" I muttered.
Yamaken shrugged. "Whatever he wants, I guess."
Kuro nodded. "Agree. But he's kind of straight-headed. He doesn't consider anything."
"That's true." I agreed. I clenched my fists. "Poison make, acid fists!"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa... you have powers?" Kuro asked in surprise.
"Yes... poison. But I hate using them to major extents." I muttered.
Jellal stepped down the stairs. "Hey, I hear sounds. What exactly were they?"
"Uh... Sasuke's brother doing some weird fire magic release stuff."
"Hm. Not my problem."
"Use your heaven magic thing! Stop Itachi!"
Jellal yawned. "I don't use my magic unless there's a good reason."
"Dance of the Swords!" A voice yelled from outside.
Jellal's head perked up. "That voice."
"Ah!" It was the voice again.
"Erza!" Jellal yelled.
"Wait, Erza left, Fernandes."
"That dude doesn't even have power! I beat him with a few kicks before." Kuro snapped.
Jellal walked to the door.
Kuro grinned. "I'd like to watch this."
Jellal opened the door.
Sasuke and Erza lay on the ground, Itachi standing above them.
"--Erza! What happened? Are you alright?"
"I'm fine... I was hurt before I came here." She groaned.
"Don't move." Jellal turned to Itachi. "So you're Uchiha Itachi, are you?"
Kuro smirked.
"HEAVENLY BODY MAGIC: ALTAIRIS, MAY THE BLACK ABYSS PUNISH YOU!"
The black warp circle rose through the sky and sucked down the earth below Itachi.
Itachi groaned and stood up. "That all you got?"
"Huh? Oh, that wasn't even a warm up! HEAVENLY BODY MAGIC: GRAND CHARIOT! LET THE SEVEN STARS JUDGE YOU!" The seven magic circles in the sky connected, golden light blasting down in a beam to Itachi.
Itachi slowly stood. Jellal wasn't near done.
"That wasn't a good enough practice! Let's start the real warm ups! HEAVEN BREAKDOWN, THE NEVER-ENDING ABYSS OF LIGHT SHALL CONDEMN YOU!" The ground below Itachi broke off, golden rays blasting him into the sky.
"NOW, THE BATTLE! HEAVENLY BODY MAGIC: SEMA!"
Dark purple clouds flooded the sky and a blinding white beam, thick and burning incinerated the land around and under Itachi.
He lay on the floor, powerless and weak in a large crater.
Jellal dusted off his hands. "It seems we're finished."
Kuro's jaw dropped to the floor. "W--"
Erza stood up. "I just appeared in this weird world. It was messed up, large giants were killing and eating people on sight... I don't want to go back there." She collapsed.
"Erza!" Jellal yelped. He caught her. "Are you fine?"
"...I suppose..." She groaned. "But I was stabbed, to admit the truth. Not stabbed... but, one of those titans ever-slightly bit me..."
"Why do I feel you aren't lying? Come, stand up. Mira! Have a bowl of soup waiting." Jellal helped her up and walked her inside.
I smiled. "It's nice, having Jellal actually be kind to someone."
"I can't say I wasn't surprised." gaped Kuro.
"What's the deal with Jellal, anyway? Ultear and Meredy are gone. They're always buzzing around him like flies."
Jellal turned his head towards me. "I can get them now, if you'll prefer. Milkovich, Meredy, come here!"
They appeared in a few minutes.
Kuro's eyes sparkled. He ran up to Meredy. "And what would your name be?"
"...uh, Meredy?"
I stifled a laugh and turned my back on them to face-palm.
Kuro turned bright red. "Could you possibly show me around here?"
"...I don't know this place very well."
"Then I'll show you around. C'mon!"
"Uh, I have to stay with Ultear and Jellal."
Kuro nodded and walked inside.
He closed the door and collapsed against it. "She was gorgeous."
I nodded. "Yeah, sure."
"And perfect."
"Sure..."
"I think I'm in love."
"You don't even know her!"
"Do you?"
"No, but I do know how she grew up! Trust me, Kuro. You have no idea what it would be like to be in her shoes."
"Really? I saw my family slaughtered in front of my own eyes and was forced to drink their blood."
"...that's just a tad harsh."
Kuro laughed. "It wasn't actually that bad, surprisingly."
"What?"
"Uh, nothing. What about your family?"
"Never met them."
"Ah. So, anyway, that Meredy-"
I laughed. "Shut up about that. Meredy doesn't see anything in anyone except Ultear and Jellal."
"Huh? Why only them?"
"Ultear raised her, and since Ultear always sticks to Jellal, Meredy always sticks to Jellal. The three know each other pretty well."
Kuro thought about that. "And what guild were they in again?"
"Uh, Crime Sorciere?"
"Then I'll join Crime Sorciere!"
Sasuke looked away with disdain in his eyes. "I don't lie."
Somehow I knew that wasn't an honest statement.
