Mashup
Once in Elle's backyard Addy was in her dreamland. There were flowers, frogs, and many dragonflies. Just then she heard a rustle,she ducked down. Elle came and asked what she was doing. She got up and said, "Sorry, I was just exploring."
"That's okay, let's go look around," Elle said.
Addy gets up and they go exploring. There's many oak trees with lots of branches. There's even a small cottage with a little bedromm and a place to hang out.
"Oh I would do anything to have this backyard," Addy says.
"I don't really like the outdoors," Elle replies.
"I love the outdoors," Addy gets up and starts running aroud, "I would do anything to live here and have this backyard."
"Well the outdoors isn't my favorite thing," Elle says.
Then they hear someone yell, "Elle, time to come in!!!!"
"That's my mom, I have to go now," Elle getts up slowly.
"Well, I'll see you tomorrow right, we can go in your cottage," Addy says geting up also.
"Yeah totally, bye," Elle says.
Addy says, "Bye," Slowly walking through the garden and taking in everything just once again.

The Art and Aspirations of a Commenter
I believe in the power of a free exchange of ideas. I also recognize that words or access to
some information can be of harm to others, intentionally or unintentionally. As a
commenter, I therefore aspire to participate responsibly in the great online conversation
by:
* treating all bloggers with respect.
* seeking first to understand what is being said.
* celebrating another's accomplishments.
* using school appropriate language.
* rephrasing ideas in the blog that made me think, made me feel, or helped me learn
to let the blogger know his/her voice has been heard.
* commenting specifically and positively, without criticism. If I disagree, I will
comment appropriately, politely stating my perspective.
* being mindful always that I may be a role model to my audience, especially if they
are younger than I.
* making no reference to, link to, and/or giving access to any information that may
be inappropriate for a school setting.
* asking at least one question in my comment with the hopes of continuing a
conversation and deepening thinking.
* using a triple check before submitting any comment: Would I be happy to have my
mother read this comment? My grandmother? My favorite teacher?
very detailed for example:"she had fairly long golden hair" - Celina
